NOTE: If any meeting must be cancelled due to inclement weather, you will receive either an e-mail notice or a telephone call around 4pm. SO be sure to check your phone or e-mail when inclement weather exists before a meeting.

NOVEMBER 5th, 2008 7:00pm
 

Program: A Healthier You
Program Chairman: Debbie Sawyer

Description of Program: As you think about your health goals with regard to eating, weight and exercise, remember that any improvement is better than no improvement. Every small step you make contributes to the future of your well-being. Kathie Rocha, Certified Personal Trainer and Pilates Instructor, will discuss the small lifestyle changes you can make for a healthier you.

Member please NOTE:  November is the time of year that we donate to our Veterans who have served our country. Attached, you will find the "wish list" we received from the MA Veterans Shelter in Worcester. Veterans Service Chairman, Lauren Saltzberg, will be collecting the items on Wednesday evening, and then will bring them up to the Shelter on Thursday. Let see how many happy Veterans we can make!  Click for a list of items.

Community Service Chairman, Amie Hyman, will be collecting hearty canned soups or monetary donations made out to the Uxbridge People First Food Pantry. Times are getting difficult for many families, and the growing numbers of families asking for help at the Food Pantry shows that Uxbridge is not immune to difficult times. Please help if you can.

DECEMBER 3rd, 2008 7:00pm
Program: Andrew’s Helping Hands

Description of Program: Andrew’s Helpful Hands Foundation helps families going through bone marrow transplants so that parents can focus on their child during the process. The foundation helps organize bone marrow drives and if finances are needed, they help with fundraisers, benefits, raffles, etc. Come and hear about this unique and special program.

JANUARY 7th, 2009 7:00pm   MEETING CANCELLED DUE TO BAD WEATHER CONDITIONS
Program: A Woman’s Club Auction

Description of Program: This is a fun and creative way to pick up some new items and to get rid of unwanted items as well. Please bring two NEW or SLIGHTLY used items for our auctioneer. Members should arrive by 6:30pm to allow the Auctioneer to prepare for the bidding.

Program: Busy Bee
Program Chairman: Jennifer Clark

Description of Program: Come and see various arts and craft items being demonstrated and learn how to make unique crafts for fundraising for the club.

MARCH 4th, 2009 6:30pm
Program: POT LUCK SUPPER
Program Chairman: Linda Forte

Description of Program: Come and enjoy good company and good food not to mention great music as Uxbridge’s Whitin Middle School Jazz Band entertains us while we eat. Please come and make our guest feel welcomed.
